The SmartSpace was founded in 2018 by a team of engineers and architects who believed modular housing could be both functional and beautiful. What started as a single prototype in a Dubai workshop has grown into a globally recognised brand delivering premium expandable homes to customers across 20+ countries.

Every SmartSpace home is precision-manufactured at our certified facility using aerospace-grade materials and construction techniques. We obsess over every detail — from the quality of the insulation to the smoothness of the expansion mechanism — because we believe you deserve nothing less.

Our Journey

From Concept to Global Brand

2018

The Beginning

SmartSpace is founded in Dubai by a team of 6 engineers and architects. The first prototype — a 20 m² expandable unit — is assembled in a workshop in Al Quoz.

2019

First Factory

We open our first certified manufacturing facility. The SmartSpace Compact (v1) is launched and receives CE certification. First 50 units shipped to customers across the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

2021

Global Expansion

SmartSpace begins shipping to Europe, Australia, and South Africa. The SmartSpace Plus (2-bedroom) launches to overwhelming demand. Production capacity doubles.

2023

SmartSpace Villa

The flagship 3-bedroom SmartSpace Villa is launched. We reach 500 units installed globally and establish local partner networks in 20+ countries.

2026

The Future

We continue to innovate, developing next-generation expansion systems and smart-home integration. Our goal: 2,000 homes delivered by 2028.

Where are SmartSpace homes manufactured?+
All SmartSpace homes are manufactured at our certified facility in Dubai, UAE. Every unit goes through rigorous quality control before leaving the factory, and we hold ISO 9001 certification.
Do you have a showroom I can visit?+
Yes — our flagship showroom is located in Business Bay, Dubai, where you can walk through a fully furnished SmartSpace Plus. We also have partner showrooms in Germany, Australia, and South Africa.
How long has SmartSpace been in business?+
We were founded in 2018 and have delivered over 500 homes across 20+ countries. Our team has grown from 6 to over 80 people worldwide.
What certifications do your homes carry?+
All SmartSpace homes carry CE certification, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications. Individual units can also be certified to local building codes upon request.
